Niger: PPM Joins Blood Donation and Medical Screening Campaign

On the occasion of the second anniversary of the National Council for the Safeguarding of the Homeland (CNSP), the Integrated Health Center of the 6th Company of the FAN military camp in Niamey organized, on July 25 and 26, a vast medical screening campaign combined with a blood donation drive. This initiative, under the leadership of the Nigerien Armed Forces, aimed to serve both solidarity and health objectives.

Beneath a banner listing major targeted diseases—hypertension, diabetes, hepatitis B, HIV/AIDS, cervical cancer, and breast cancer awareness—military medical teams welcomed a wide public comprising both soldiers and civilians. These days allowed for the early detection of several chronic conditions while raising awareness about the importance of ongoing medical care.

The PPM Niger team supported the event by providing refreshments for blood donors, encouraging participation, and thanking volunteers for their vital contribution.
